FOR WHOLE DEER WE REQUIRE A $50 DEPOSIT AND AN ORDER BEFORE WE CAN ACCEPT YOUR DEER.
During peak season there will be a daily limit on number of whole deer we can accept. Feel free to call ahead for us to hold a spot for you on the day you plan to hunt and bring in a deer.
Current price for deboning/skinning a whole deer is $90. If you bring in quarters, fees are $25 each quarter.
We can cape your deer for $35 if fresh or $50 if frozen.

We specialize in creating custom smokehouse products from your venison. We are not set up as a typical meat locker, so we are unable to do specialty cuts.
We can customize a package for processing venison that the whole family will enjoy. Your order will receive knowledgeable and personal attention.
We require a minimum of 15 pounds of your venison to go towards each product you want made during regular deer season. During the months of April - September we require a minimum of 25 pounds.
Special requests not listed require 25 pounds of deer and may not be available in December.
PRODUCTS
RING BOLOGNA - Hickory smoked and fully cooked. Eat it cold, with cheese and crackers, grilled, fried, cooked with vegetables, or stewed into casseroles. This versatile crowd pleaser has been a local favorite for over 65 years.
SUMMER SAUSAGE - With roughly 25% more ingredients this is a spiced version of the ring bologna. Great on a snack tray or fried as a breakfast sausage.
BRATWURST - Leaner than any store brat, yet flavorful enough to please the harshest critics. A tasty and firm bratwurst.
SNACK STICKS - Easy to pack for a hunt, lunch box, or sporting event. This is a slightly dryer version with all the 'snack appeal.'
WHOLE MUSCLE JERKY -
True jerky, not ground and reformed. We will debone a hindquarter for no charge if you are having it made into jerky. This allows us to maximize our cuts to get you as much delicious jerky as possible.
GROUND DEER - We can grind your deer straight and package it in portions for you or add 30% or 100% beef.
We proudly participate in the Iowa HUSH program for donating deer meat to Iowa Food Banks. Click on the link below to learn more about the program and requirements for donating deer.
Please bring one of your tags into Boyd's so you can properly fill out the HUSH donation card. We are unable to accept your deer without it being filled out completely.
Information you need is: Hunter name, Hunter DNR Number, Hunter Address, Deer Registration Number, Sex and Size of Deer.
